Why am I helping this community? The military community by necessity leans on its other members. As a spouse, I have been through many deployments and overseas assignments with my husband both during his time in the Army and Coast Guard. I know what it is like to be far away from family and need help. I feel like our willingness to step up and help each other is one of our greatest assets as a community and I am happy to use my experiences to mentor others.
