PURPOSE:
The UCLA Veteran Resource Center and the UCLA ROTC programs, along with members of the community, have supported the Los Angeles National Cemetery (LANC) in a Memorial Day service program for the last 8 years. During this event, participants pick up 90,000+ flags that mark the grave site of our nations service members. This annual event occurs in the morning on the Tuesday following Memorial Day. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff, as well as anyone from the greater Los Angeles community who would like to honor Veterans and their families.
