Min is a U.S. military Veteran and PhD student in Inorganic Chemistry at UCLA, developing sustainable polymer and functional materials for energy, environmental, and biomedical applications. His research focuses on biodegradable medical polymers, conductive polymer systems, sustainable composites, and next-generation battery separators designed to reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions while maintaining high performance. Drawing from his experience as a U.S. Army healthcare specialist and clinical research lead, Min integrates a translational, systems-level approach to bridge inorganic chemistry, polymer science, and scalable manufacturing for real-world impact.
